Today’s puzzle presented an interesting challenge with two words beginning with I, which made it tricky to differentiate the correct placement of certain letters. Quordle History

Quordle was created by Freddie Meyer in 2022, inspired by Wordle and Dordle. Initially, David Mah developed a prototype before Meyer refined and expanded it. The game launched in February 2022 and quickly amassed over a million players within weeks.

In January 2023, Merriam-Webster acquired Quordle. Company president Greg Barlow described it as a “favorite” among employees and a “great addition” to the site’s game collection.
